💻 Online Workshop Community Guidelines

To maintain a welcoming and safe virtual space for all participants, we ask you to agree to the following:

Respectful Communication
Speak kindly, listen actively, and avoid interrupting. We value diverse perspectives and ask all participants to engage with empathy and openness.

Inclusive Environment
Discrimination, hate speech, harassment, or microaggressions based on race, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, religion, or age will not be tolerated.

Privacy & Consent
Do not record or screenshot others without permission. Participants may choose whether to have their cameras on. Respect everyone’s boundaries and privacy.

Safe Sharing
Story-sharing is encouraged but not required. Be mindful of the emotional tone and avoid graphic details. If something feels emotionally heavy, you are welcome to pass or privately message the facilitator for support.

One Voice at a Time
To keep conversation flowing smoothly, please raise your hand (virtually or physically) when participating in group discussion.

🧑🏽‍🤝‍🧑🏾 Offline Interactions After Online Workshops

We love seeing connections blossom beyond class, but we ask that participants follow these community safety principles when meeting in person after connecting online:

• Mutual Consent: Only connect offline if both parties enthusiastically agree.

• Public First Meetings: Meet in public spaces for the first few interactions.

• Respect Boundaries: Everyone has different comfort levels. Do not pressure others into in-person gatherings or sharing too much. We do not hold responsibility for the online community meeting in real life.

• Report Concerns: If you ever feel unsafe due to another participant’s behavior, please contact help immediately.

Lunar Blooms Craft Studios – Waiver & Release of Liability

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY – THIS IS A LEGAL RELEASE

By signing this form, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation & Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in art classes, art camps, and related activities (“Activity”) at Lunar Blooms Craft Studios, involves certain risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to, physical injury, illness, allergic reactions, property damage, and emotional or psychological harm.

I understand these risks may result from my own actions, the actions of others, equipment, the facility, or travel to and from the Activity. I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks, whether known or unknown, related to my participation.

2. Release of Liability

In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Activity, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, release and forever discharge Lunar Blooms Craft Studios, its owners, managers, staff, volunteers, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising from my participation, including claims for negligence, except where prohibited by law.

3. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lunar Blooms Craft Studios from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) brought by me or on my behalf, or by others as a result of my actions during the Activity.

4. Medical Care & Responsibility

If I require medical attention during the Activity, I agree to be financially responsible for all related costs. I understand that Lunar Blooms Craft Studios does not provide medical insurance and that I should maintain my own coverage.

5. Property Damage

I accept responsibility for any damage to equipment, materials, or facilities caused by my willful actions, negligence, or recklessness.

6. Legal Agreement

This waiver is intended to be legally binding. If any portion is found unenforceable, the remaining sections will remain in effect. This agreement is entered into willingly and without coercion.

7. Authorization & Release 

I give permission to Lunar Blooms Craft Studios to use photos taken of me at the studio, as well as photos of my artwork, to be used for local news and marketing. I also give permission to Lunar Blooms Craft Studios to use photos taken of my artwork to be used for marketing on social media, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
